Zelda Fitzgerald, born Sayre in 1900, was raised to be a free spirit. Unusually independent and fearless in expressing her thoughts and self for the time, she pretty soon became notorious for her outrageous behaviour.
When she was 17, she met Lieutenant. F. Scott Fitzgerald who in Zelda had found his love, muse, and wife. Zelda served as a role model for the heroines in his stories and soon became an icon of the Jazz Age alongside her husband - but eventually, she discovered she wanted to contribute more than wit, glamour, and beauty to their eccentric party life and fought for her own artistic freedom...
